My favorite movie

My favorite movie is "Violeta se fue a los Cielos". The film was released this year in Santiago and the director was Andrés Wood.

This Chilean movie is about to life of singer "Violeta Parra". Angel Parra, the son of Violeta, writes her biography and Wood extracted some moments of the book for make the flim. For example, as a child, when she travels around Chile, especially trips to country of Chile and also out of country.

I like this movie because it shows a life very important for Chilean history, that is little known for de people. But, what I like the most is the image of film, the fotography, the acting and actors, besides the film received a good responce from film critics and was one of the most view.

The last book

The last book I read was "the mountain is more than a vast green steppe". This book was written for Omar Cabezas. He was a student of the Autonomous University of Nicaragua in the decade of the 60 and he was student leader of the “Frente de Estudiantes Revolucionarios, FER”. This organization belonged to the “Frente Sandinista de Liberación Nacional, FSLN” which fought to overthrow the Somoza dictatorship.

I like this book because tells a part the story of the Revolution in Nicaragua. The author tells his experiences in the “guerrilla” in the city, in the field, in the mountain. Related who he joined the FSLN, his feeling, showing the importancie of compromise with a proyect that seek change the society.

Is a small books that teaches since from everyday life, and forces who reads it to think abouts his own life.

This book I seek during one years in all place where sold books. One day I was walking for a “Galpón” of “Persa Bío-bío” and see the book in the distance in a shlef. I go immediately, I take and ask for the price. Whitout releasing of hand I am lookin for a books. Finally, I bought two books.

Favorite piece of technology

My favorite piece of technology is anything objects that I can to listen music. It can be Mp3, Mp4, personal stereo, CD player. I use always, when ride a bike, when I walk, when I go by bus. Also, when I study or I make other task.

If I am in my house, I listen music in my minicomponet but if I am out of my house use a portable device. I take in my pocket whit an earphone. Sometimes I use within earphone, because my Mp4 have speaker.

I like because I can listen different music. I can listen different discs of a group or singers and a lot of sings. My mp4 have 2 gb of memory and it can save more than four hundred sings. I like the mp4 because I like listen music in different moments of day, when I am calm, when I travel, and especially when I work in a computer.

If I can’t this object my life would be boring. Besides, the music helps me to concentrate in my chores. The only problem is that the battery is limit, it to last a couple hours. But, a advantage is that recharges in the computer or in the current.

Central America

I would like to visit Central America. The reasons are too much. The first is its rich I biodiversity, its beautiful and diverse landscapes; jungle, mountain, costs, llanos. The second reason is that zone has an interesting history since, for example indigenous culture like Mayas

Once read a book that it was about city of Guatemala call Antigua. The story and de places were very moving and mysterious. Since that read this book I would like to visit. Actuality is a mankind's cultural heritage

The territorial extension of Central America is not very large so is possible to visit in one travel. Some people talk to me that Costa Rica can be visited completely in three weeks. Costa Rica is recognized as the country with the major biodiversity of world

Nicaragua I would like for its history, live in that country the revolution removing a dictator from power. I would talk with people who lived in this year, and know that think the young about this process. Honduras is a multiethnic country and with Salvador, Belice and Guatemala were the territory of the Maya

I would like live in some of these country, especially in Costa Rica. But, for now I can only visit or at least a few more years. Would travel with good friends

Now, save money to travel to “Carretera Austral” at south of Chile.

Music

I like music in Spanish because I can sing and I can learn the song. Generally I listen to Chilean artist and latinamerican artist because the music, songs, instrument represent the latinamerican culture. The music styles that I listen are trova, cumbia, salsa, andin music, hip hop, new Chilean song, etc. Sometimes I when listen a song, its remember me places, persons, felling, or sometimes a feeling or situation remember me a song o artist. For example, I when I’m study I listen instrumental music for I to can concentrate specially of Inti Illimani. When I’m sad I always listen special songs o certain types de artist that I remember other similar situation. For example, I listen something songs of new Chilean music, like Illapu, Victor Jara, Quilapayún, etc. I also listen to other artist like Drexler, Serrano, Serrat, Mercedes Sosa, etc. But when I want cheer up I listen other music like singer of salsa, Juan Luis Guerra, different songs of Illapu, Inti, Victor Jara, and Chilean cantautores like Angelo Escobar, Elizabeth Morris, Evelyn Cornejo. I also listen singers of other countries of Latin American like Susana Baca, Calle 13, Rubén Blades, Totó la Momposina, Chilean cumbia, Peruvien cumbia, etc. I'll leave some songs: Evelyn Cornejo Totó la momposina Susana Baca Ruben Blades Kaskivano

The last movie that I saw was “El violin”. The story is interesting because it could happen in any place of Latin America. The character is a poor peasant, called Plutarco. He is a violinist although he has only one hand. His son and grandson are musician too. One day, the army invades their town and they have to run away because they support the peasant guerrilla movement. The family goes through the mountain and arrives in a secure place. But, the grandfather returns to try to find the admunitions. He with his music tries to gain the confidence of the captain.
