HOW GREEN ARE YOU?
However, in the university there are several environmental organizations. Some work the problem of homeless animal, the care of green areas or some that work the recycling topics. Particularly in the “Campus Juan Gomez Millas” there are many groups that work this topic. These organizations are coordinated in a place called “JGM Verde”. They did a project that consisted in install in different places of campus three dumps into a metal structure. Each dump has a different color for recycling: red, green and yellow.
About my practices, usually I do not recycle, but I have tried. Through the year collect many photocopies in my room and I have sought a place to recycle but I have had a couple of problems. The photocopies are very heavy and I do not move, and I don’t know how to carry them.
I like cycling. Usually I use the bicycle for moving in the city and I like walk. But, I did not join to some eco-organisations, because I do not have time and I am not interested in this topic. I would like cycling more and I can recycle my photocopies. Also would like to learn more things about this topic, for example which things can be recycling easily.
I don’t know how reduce the carbon footprint, but I would like to learn about it, because to care the environment is very important for the society.

many Americans gave up hope year – 2012 will be worse
The article that I chose called “many Americans gave up hope year – 2012 will be worse”. I chose this note because de last weekend I read a article of newpaper “Punto Final” about this topic. In wich a sociology was reffering of socio-economic moments that will live in the economic crisis.
The article talks abouts of “American Dream” and de actual economic crisis. This crisis presents similar aspect that the last crisis originated in USA. The topic of “property boom” still present, also high nevels of unemployment in USA and Europe (Spain, Italy, Greece). But, also the crisis arrive to Latin America, for example Brasil that it is a emerging-market country.
However, the article presents a alternative called “good news”. This mean that “addressing these long-term problems would actually help to solve the short-term problems”. For example in politic enviromental would alow create jobs and improve the economy.
Also talk about a rebalancing of economic power – in fact in the world. This phenomenon was present a couple ueras ago. Finally, the article talk about the possibility that to accelerate generating tension politic around de world after 12 months.
In general, the article talk of economics topic, but also social topics like umemployment and people’s perceptions.

My favorite movie
My favorite movie is "Violeta se fue a los Cielos". The film was released this year in Santiago and the director was Andrés Wood.
This Chilean movie is about to life of singer "Violeta Parra". Angel Parra, the son of Violeta, writes her biography and Wood extracted some moments of the book for make the flim. For example, as a child, when she travels around Chile, especially trips to country of Chile and also out of country.
I like this movie because it shows a life very important for Chilean history, that is little known for de people. But, what I like the most is the image of film, the fotography, the acting and actors, besides the film received a good responce from film critics and was one of the most view.

The last book
The last book I read was "the mountain is more than a vast green steppe". This book was written for Omar Cabezas. He was a student of the Autonomous University of Nicaragua in the decade of the 60 and he was student leader of the “Frente de Estudiantes Revolucionarios, FER”. This organization belonged to the “Frente Sandinista de Liberación Nacional, FSLN” which fought to overthrow the Somoza dictatorship.
I like this book because tells a part the story of the Revolution in Nicaragua. The author tells his experiences in the “guerrilla” in the city, in the field, in the mountain. Related who he joined the FSLN, his feeling, showing the importancie of compromise with a proyect that seek change the society.
Is a small books that teaches since from everyday life, and forces who reads it to think abouts his own life.
This book I seek during one years in all place where sold books. One day I was walking for a “Galpón” of “Persa Bío-bío” and see the book in the distance in a shlef. I go immediately, I take and ask for the price. Whitout releasing of hand I am lookin for a books. Finally, I bought two books.
